One of my favorite summer style staples has become the Little White Dress.
I only have one, and if not for #1yearNoShopping, I'd be running out to buy more. Lucky this one hits all the right points:
Short, eyelet, and cutout.
It's an old dress I bought a few years ago, but I am finding it to be a classic- and suitable for just about any summer occasion. My favorite way to style it is with bracelets, beads, and wedges.
And throw your hair up! In this heat, ain't nobody got time for curls...
If you don't have a Little White Dress, it's high time you found one. (I've linked a few good ones at the end of this post)
Here's a few guidelines:
Keep it short. Any longer than knee length and you start to look bridal.
If you're going short-short, consider eyelet. Eyelet is sweet and classic. It comes back around every summer without fail.
Try a cut out! But remember to balance it. If the back is cut, keep the front neckline high. This is code for "don't be a slut".
